COMESA COMPETITION COMMISSION

ISSUED ON: 09^TH SEPTEMBER 2022

This serves to notify prospective bidders that the COMESA Competition Commission (the Commission), wishes to issue this addendum amending the Request For Proposals (RFP) No.CCC/RFP/07/06/2022 posted on the Commission’s website www.comesacompetition.org on 16 August 2022 regarding the Quality Assurance Consultancy Services for Planning, Selection and Implementation of the Development of the Electronic Filling and Case Management System (EFCMS) of the  Commission as follows:

1. Section “S. FORMAT AND SEALING OF BIDS”

1.1 Addition of the following new paragraph after paragraph 36

“36A. The electronic submission of the bid is required to be submitted via compcom@comesa.int email in a PDF password protected format, to which you will have to provide the password during the tender opening scheduled for redesigning the COMESA Competition Commission website on 18 October 2022 at 15:00 hours Malawi time or provide the password in the email electronic submission of the document. However, the electronic submission does not exclude the mandatory requirement of hard copy submission which is expected to be made within the deadline.  In this respect, you will have to send to the Commission your courier waybill showing that the parcel has been dispatched before the closing date provided in our RFP.”

2. Section “T. CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS AND OPENING OF BIDS”

2.1. By the deletion of paragraph 37 and the substitution of the following:

“37. The closing date for submission of proposals is 18 October 2022 at 12:00 hours Malawi time. Proposals received by the Commission after the deadline for submission of proposals shall be rejected. There shall be no exception of this requirement.”

2.2. By the deletion of paragraph 38 and the substitution of the following:

“38. Bidders or their authorized representatives are invited to attend the bid opening ceremony either physically or virtually on 18 October 2022 at 15:00 hours Malawi Time at the Commission Offices, 5th Floor Kang’ombe House, Lilongwe.”
